A 24-year-old man has quit his job to become a full-time Pokemon hunter.
Tom Currie told The Guardian that he wanted an adventure and decided to dedicate the next two months of his life to the Pokemon GO game.
‘I have been working for six years and I was desperate for a break. And Pokemon gave me the chance to live that dream.’
Currie, from Auckland, New Zealand, has already caught 90 of the 151 monsters after booking 20 bus trips around the country earlier in the week.
While going from city to city he has been staying with friends and has been renting in cheap motel rooms.
A number of transport companies have even offered him free travel so that he can find the rarest of Pokemon.
He’s surely out there to catch ’em all.
