Scottish football team Ayr United have made international headlines with an eye-catching shirt promotion.
The club, nicknamed ‘The Honest Men’, had a busty model promote their kit on her bare torso covered only in body paint.
It is not the first time the club has used topless models with Ava Sovisl being the latest in a string of beauties to pose for the club since 2012 in Ayr’s attempt to attract new fans.
Shirt sponsors Bodog revealed that the shirt is the third best selling kit in Scotland, coming only behind the country’s two most famous clubs, Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic.
A spokesman for the club said: “The Ayr United shirts are of a very high quality but it would be unfair to say they are any different from the other teams in that respect.
“In fact, from what I can see from the latest photoshoot they look a bit tight to me.”
