Villagers find ‘Angel From Heaven’…Only To Realise It Was A Sex Doll

Police have confiscated a blow-up sex doll from a remote Indonesian village after it’s inhabitants mistook it for an “angel.”

The doll was found in March of this year and was found by a fisherman near the Banggai islands in the Sulawesi province.

The story spread online after the family of the man who found the doll took pictures of the sex toy, even dressing it in human clothing.

Villagers dressed the doll in fresh clothes every day.

Police investigated the matter amid fears the rumours would cause religious unrest, and discovered that the angel was n fact a sex doll.

Detik, and Indonesian news portal said photos of the doll dressed in human clothing and wearing a hijab spread on social media shortly after the pictures were uploaded.

Many across Indonesian hold strong beliefs in the supernatural, including the existence of spiritual beings called “bidadari”, a type of angel spirit.

Rumours then began to spread that it was a “bidadari” along with unverified stories about how it was found “stranded and crying”, prompting the police to investigate.

Heru Pramukamo, a local police chief, told reporters that villagers had found the doll shortly after a rare solar eclipse in March.

The family posted pictures online which soon went viral.

 

Indonesian news portal Detik said photos of the doll dressed demurely and wearing a hijab spread on social media shortly after its discovery.

Rumours then began to spread that it was a “bidadari” along with unverified stories about how it was found “stranded and crying”, prompting the police investigation.

Many across Indonesia continue to hold strong beliefs in the supernatural, including the existence of “bidadari”, which is a type of angel or spirit.

Local police chief Heru Pramukarno told reporters that villagers had found the doll shortly after the rare March solar eclipse that swept across South East Asia.

The doll was dressed up in a hijab as well.

The timing of the discovery led some to believe the doll had a divine provenance.

“They have no internet, they don’t know what a sex toy is,” the police chief was quoted as saying by AFP news agency.
