A seven-year-old girl has died after strong winds blew the bouncy castle she played in over 150m across park in Harlow, England.
The young girl, who was trapped in the castle as it was blown across the park, was taking part in an Easter celebration at a Harlow Town Park, in Essex.
She was taken to hospital but later confirmed dead after suffering serious injuries resulting from the accident.
Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 4pm on Saturday and were aided by an air ambulance, later airlifting the injured girl to safety.
A spokesman said the girl was in a critical condition after suffering serious injuries, but police then later confirmed that she had died.
The Harlow Star report that the girl was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, England.
Police are working with Health and Safety officials after two people were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence.
Police investigations are ongoing.
